The Rotary Club of Warners Bay was chartered on 20th September, 1975. The Rotary Club of Cardiff sponsored the new club , which started with 27 members, having been created by ceding territory from Cardiff and Belmont clubs. Two of the original chartered group are still members - Geoff Pendlebury and Roger Wakefield. Our support of the Young Carers Camp with Hunter Education - EduCare provides a respite weekend for young carers, whether they look after a sibling, parent or other family member. The Rotary Foundation is Rotary's official charity which performs extraordinary humanitarian works around the world. Polio Plus has eradicated polio from nearly every country in the world. Malaria is also targeted, with several countries still to be malaria free or controlled. The Club participates in the Youth Exchange Program - since 1976.
